Community Matters.

The 365 Challenge is upon us, and it is one of my favorite times of the year (it?s like Alchemy Christmas for me). There are so many amazing aspects of the Challenge but this year I am leaning into the community aspect of the Challenge, more than ever.

I typically love the focus, drive, and accountability the Challenge brings. I thrive off taking time to focus on getting in workouts with no excuses, focusing strongly on my nutritional needs by giving my body the best foods for it to thrive, and taking the time off from things like alcohol and sugar to feel my best. All of those things leave me feeling focused, fresh, and super strong. But like I said, this year, I am finding the community the most important part.

Community is different right now. We?re meeting and communicating virtually, seeing each other in the studio with masks on and missing smiles and high fives during class. But we?re in this together and we?ve never needed each other more. We are cheering one another on throughout the country, we are liking one another?s foodie posts, workout goals, and we are sending virtual high-fives around the world. In-studio, we?re pushing one another despite all of the changes, we?re smiling through our masks and we?re giving each other that little bit of humanity we crave. No matter how you?re in this Challenge with us? you?re WITH US.

When I am working out at home doing Alchemy Anywhere, I think about all the Athletes around the world doing this challenge with me. I imagine you next to me and push myself harder, I turn the music up and try to send you my good workout vibes, no matter where you are. I LOVE that this is our biggest Challenge ever, despite the weight of the world, the challenges we all face, and how it can feel like everything is against us ? we are focusing on self-care. This is how we begin the hard work, how we can impact and make a change, how we can care for others. We have to take care of ourselves first. I am so proud of this group of incredible, dedicated people. Self-care is more important than ever and doing it with 745 others is what the Challenge is all about.

I am honored to be leading this Challenge, I am honored to be surrounded and supported by such a driven group of people who are pushing through challenges of all kinds. Thank you for trusting us to be your fitness and nutrition team throughout this Challenge and beyond. We have never needed you more and we sure hope you?re feeling our support, love, and appreciation.

Now, let?s eat foods that make us feel good, kick these workouts in the A and support one another. Whether that?s online, sending good vibes, giving a nod with your mask on, or being a total crazy person who high fives your computer screen so hard after a workout thinking it?s actually a human (oh, that?s just me)?

This Challenge is about all of those good things, but more than ever, community. We are so glad you found us.
